Job Description:


Dash Cam Solutions is looking for a skilled and dependable Installation Technician to join our team. This is a 1099 contractor position, In this role, you’ll be responsible for installing dash cameras, GPS tracking systems, and related electronic equipment in fleet and personal vehicles. The ideal candidate has a background in automotive electronics, strong attention to detail, and takes pride in quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

  • Install dash cameras, GPS units, and multi-camera systems in vehicles

  • Perform wiring, mounting, and system testing to ensure proper functionality

  • Troubleshoot and repair installation issues as needed

  • Maintain clean, professional, and organized work on every job site

  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members

  • Keep accurate records of installations and service performed

  • Help with customers and staff as needed

  • Willing to travel as needed across Texas and US

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience with automotive electronics, wiring, or related installation work

  • Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Previous installation experience preferred but not required (training available)

  • Can you safely use tools such as multimeters, soldering irons, and crimping tools? 

  • Have you worked on commercial fleet vehicles (trucks, vans, buses)? â€‹

  • Do you have experience running wires through vehicle panels and dashboards? 

Do you currently own your own tools? 

  • Do you hold any relevant certifications (MECP, ASE, or similar)?

  • Are you willing to travel for fleet installations if needed?
